Manny blames himself for the tragic way things ended between him and his boyfriend, Sam. Lying on a cold surgical table with nodes hooked up to his implanted digiChip, Manny relives every last moment of their relationship, as a digiCore clinician twists his words and actions to present a version of reality Manny can live with. But when he wakes up, Manny realizes that there may be more to absolution than he thought.
